We are a Japanese company with a business partnership with Valeo, a major French auto parts company, and we are seeking a new Sales Development Manager to support company production. Our company aims to become a global company by providing world class products domestically and abroad.

We welcome candidates with 5+ years of sales experience in the automobile industry or related fields. This position will be client-facing and require strong negotiation skills in Business English/French/Japanese. Our office is located in Tokyo but you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams in France and Hiroshima. Your job responsibilities will include:

- Handling customer orders and price negotiation
- Negotiating the delivery date adjustment with customers and factories (mainly in Europe)
- Participating in technical meetings
- Estimating production time and cost of creation of various materials
- Order - Sales forecast management
- New development (sales activities to automobile manufacturers and automobile parts manufacturers, about 20% of the entire operation)
- Management of France base operations
- Teleconference with French base sales (twice a week)
- Attending local business visits from France
- Hiroshima business trip: once a month 
- Business trip abroad: It may occur about twice a year

Work Experience

5+ years


- Business Japanese/English/French
- 5+ years of sales experience in the automobile industry or related field
- Ability to travel overseas and in Japan for business
